By mistake I have formatted my hard drive, which contained almost 2 TB of data. I am so much confused and do not know much about the recovery software. So I need an advice that, what action has to be taken to retrieve data from a hard drive?
Well, you can retrieve data easily if you have formatted the drive. But, if you have used it to store additional data after formatting or reformatting it, then in this case it will be hard to get 100% of the data back. But still you would be able to retrieve a large amount of data.
Moreover it is a must to stop using the drive any further (in case you are still using it), in order to stay away from irreversible data loss.
