Initial Diagnosis:

Initial diagnosis process starts with either filling an online form or our customer service representative asking you certain questions which are needed to understand the exact cause for the data loss or failure and what efforts we need to put in to recover your precious data. With these questions the evaluation process of the storage media would start:

  • What are the files and folders which need to be recovered?
  • What is the type of storage media i.e. HDD, USB, Compact Flash or RAID?
  • How many logical drives are there on the drive and how much data each drive holds?
  • What exactly happened, which caused data loss?What exactly you tried in case you attempted something on your own?
  • How fast you are looking to get this data recovered?

This would take few minutes for you to answer, however may turn up as valuable information, but is decisive in making an initial assessment of the disk failure. Please read the shipping instructions carefully to send media.

Assessment:

Once your drive has arrived it will be handled with utmost care and attention you expect. Our data recovery technicians and engineers will determine whether the problem is mechanical or electrical or software related. And after the completion of the assessment we will send you detailed assessment report, covering below mentioned details:

  • What exactly went wrong with the hard drive, causing data loss?
  • What needs to be done at our end to recover your data?What files can be recovered (list of recoverable data would be given)?
  • How long it will take?
  • What the cost will be?

Commencing Recovery:

Only upon your approval to commence the recovery job will begin. Depending on the extent of the failure of the storage media, our technicians may have to replace failed or damaged components or work on the storage media in our Class 100 Clean Room.

Delivery of Recovered Data:
